In this New York home, we designed an urban contemporary kitchen remodel tailored for a dynamic young family. Our primary aim was to cultivate an open and harmonious living space by breaking down a half wall and introducing a sleek island. This strategic move not only facilitated a seamless connection between the kitchen and the rest of the house but also substantially increased both countertop space and storage options.

Drawing inspiration from Scandinavian design principles, the kitchen emanates warmth through the incorporation of rich, natural white oak wood. The cabinetry, reflecting European minimalism, seamlessly combines functionality and aesthetic appeal. Complementing these features, a slatted backsplash introduces a touch of modern sophistication.
